Skin tag removal

Have you wondered what you can do about that embarrassing wart? Most people don’t talk about it but warts on fingers, knees and the face are very common. We can remove it using  the Lamprobe treatment which uses heat or  Cryoprobe, which uses dry ice. Not all warts can be removed therefore the technician will do an analysis first. It takes a few minutes and you’re ready to go home.

Lamprobe is $ 100 for a few little spots or $170 for a full treatment. This is when we remove skin tags from the neck area, face etc.

Cryoprobe is $175 for the treatment. Doesn’t matter how small or large the area is. They’re both fast and safe. Please make sure you give it between 5-10 days to fully heal. The area may become a bit darker and will then fall off on its own.

If you’d like to have the area numbed before hand, please come in 30 min prior to your appointment.

The skin is divided into 3 layers. Imagine that the upper layer of your skin is like the upper layer of  a mattress. The upholstery on the upper surface of the mattress is held by pegs to give it a plush feeling. This gives a mattress the dimpling effect as seen in the picture.

The human skin has a similar structure.  Connective collagen bands anchor the inner layer of the skin (dermis) to the muscle below. These connective bands hold the skin that covers over your body.

Incidentally, its the firmness of the collagen connective bands that gives babies their lovely soft and supple skin. As we age, these bands lose their elasticity. Have you ever pinched the skin of a baby. Try pinching the skin of an 80 year old person. It takes some seconds before the skin gets back to normal.

Botox or Dysport ?

Every day I get asked the same Question, Which is better… Botox or Dysport?

I think you should know that they’re both practically the same thing. The only difference that I’ve noticed is that Dysport works faster and lasts longer. That’s my honest opinion.

It’s also cheaper by $50 “per area”… then they give you a $75 rebate for trying it. It basically ends up costing $150 per area after your rebate is mailed to you from Dysport. Yes, Incredible savings but there’s more!!!! If you wait 3 months after your first Dysport Session, you can get another $75 for sticking with Dysport for your second treatment.

Smart Savings for Dysport users. These are the little secrets of the medical world. The pharmaceutical companies are like rival gangs on each others territories. My philosophy is, every-thing’s replaceable and the competition creates better product for the future.

So, with that said. There are people that want to play it safe and stay with Botox. We have that avaialble also. It’s good to have Restylane and Juvederm which are the same thing. Just as good as having Dysport and Botox.

Here’s a topic that most of America can relate to, Weight loss.

Where do I begin? My mom Amalia still tells me about the days they used to eat at 10pm just to get ready to go out after. Can you imagine that? Talk about tight jeans. Especially all the meat and rice they ate daily. But no, their jeans fit perfectly. Nothing too tight, nothing wrong at all. Twiggy is what they all looked like but didn’t even need to try. This is so unfair to me. I look at photos of her and just don’t get it.

So we moved to America and everyone started filling up a bit.Gradually filling up, she had to donate her jeans to good will. I want you to know that I’ve done my own research , on myself of course. What makes America FAT???? We love Freedom but help us stop eating, please!
